Mobile - Move the player

Moving the player was a big challenge for me because just could not get my player to move, but after working hard fixing my codes I finally got my player to work.

Programming With ActionScript3

Programming with ActionScript3 is not that hard, I find it fun pretty fun, because it's I little more difficult. What I find a bit difficult at times is that the codes have to have many things that can not be missed, or the game will not work.

Learn About Game Paper Prototyping

My game will be fun of surprises with lots of unexpected thing.I want my game to inspire teens around the world tor realize what other teens did that got them into a lot of trouble and make sure that other teens who can drive dont make those same decisions.

Plan Game Scene

What excites me about my game is that i'll make it fun and exiting. What excites me most about my game will be that, my game will hopefully make teenagers understand that they should not get distracted while driving. I will provide lots of stuff to make people understand what they should  not be doing.

Draw the Player in Flash

The "player" in my game is you. You have to choose whether to text, call, reed, etc, while driving. The more bad things you do while driving you lose points and you risk crashing into something, or someone.
The player (you) is going to go to the store on the fist mission. Player must get to the store safely.

Paper Prototype

Making a paper prototype is not very hard at all, it dosent even take 10 minutes to do one.Gathering all my ideas then putting them on the paper is so interesting because you get to draw out a preview on how you're gonna make your game or how it's gonna look.Making a paper prototype also helped me solve lots of problems I had with my game ideas.

Draw a Background

  • What were the differences between drawing on paper vs. drawing with flash?

  • Which did you like more?

  • How did creating a paper prototype first help you with using Flash?

The differences between paper and drawing on flash is that on paper you can set all your ideas for the game and put on paper. After you can  put all of those ideas on flash. On flash you have to trace your paper prototype. There is not much of a difference.

I don't like drawing on paper very much because I always end up changing a lot of stuff in flash.I'm not saying it's a bad thing but I prefer to start on flash and end in flash.Paper prototypes is a good way to start but for me it's not so great. Overall I like flash over paper.
